Jølstravatnet is known as one of Europe's best trout - fishing lake! The record for rod fishing is held by Sverre Amundsen from when he caught a large trout weighing 12.1 kg on a lure in the spring of 1996.
We have boats for rent with/without outboard motors, and are happy to recommend good fishing spots. Life jackets/life jackets are included with the boat.
Lunde Turiststasjon also sells fishing licenses for Jølster Hunting and Fishing Club.
The price of a fishing license in Jølster is NOK 120 for a day pass, NOK 600 for a weekly pass and NOK 1,000 for a season pass.
This is a joint fishing license that applies to rod fishing, otter fishing and all other types of sport fishing. (not net fishing) in general Jølster .
