Fishing fever in Jølster !
This year's trout fishing festival is approaching in Jølster ! Lunde Turiststasjon still has accommodation available. When we took a trip around Kjøsnesfjorden a couple of days ago, there were a lot of people out testing the fishing traps, and trying out different baits and hooks. The fish were willing to bite and several beautiful Jølstra trout found their way to a sizzling frying pan on this beautiful summer evening.
This guy was standing by the Lundeelva River at the head of Kjøsnesfjorden and landed several shiny, beautiful trout in the short time we were there. There are good reports for the weekend and we encourage people to make the trip to Jølster and participate in this year's fishing festival. Maybe you'll win the grand prize and drive home a new Volvo!
