Otter fishing in the Kjøsnesfjord, Jølster

In recent years, this group of friends have been regular guests at our place. They are skilled fishermen who appreciate good trout fishing and beautiful nature.

This week they mostly used the otter trap when they fished out in the late evening hours, and the catch was up to expectations. There were reports of a lot of fish and of very good size. We can safely say that the otter season in Kjøsnesfjorden has begun!

Here at our place, everyone can rent a boat, whether they live here or just want to have a nice evening on the "fjord".
Otter fishing is permitted in Jølstravatnet from June 1 to August 10. 

They should be welcome!

Here the fishermen have come ashore after a good evening session and are continuing to gut the day's catch.
